I have a newfound passion for cruising on ships, where the gentle sway of the sea and the breathtaking views create the perfect escape.
There's something magical about indulging in the amenities of an all-inclusive resort, allowing me to unwind completely without a care in the world.
But what truly fuels my adventurous spirit is the thrill of exploring new countries, especially in Europe. Each destination offers a taste of culture, history, and cuisine, inviting me to immerse myself in new experiences.

My Recent Escapes
Our first foray into cruising was with MSC Seashore and my wife wanted to luxe size up to their Yacht Club experience. What a way to start!
I needed to know if I did indeed catch the cruise life bug and my nephew had a birthday - so why not take him on the same ship!
I heard the vibe from Margaritaville of the Seas Islander is so chill and laid back that I had to go learn all about it. So off to Tampa I went and had a blast on this Mexican voyage!
So it looks like 2025 will be our year for cruising so next up was Virgin Voyages. We went on the Valiant Lady in Miami and was able to book some friends to share the fun!
After having a great time on their bigger ship, I decided to try the smaller one as it offers cruises that go for a couple of days or so. While different than what I've been on, it was still a great short getaway!
We went on the Valiant Lady again ,to join a great group of friends made on the previous sailing, but this time for a themed Halloween voyage. Virgin goes all out to make the sailing a true Halloween event!
Visiting family in the Orlando area makes it easy to find a short sailings. I wanted to see what Carnival has to offer & this trip delivered as I found a nice 4 night sailing that allowed me to check out another cruise line.
Back to MSC with another class of ship to try out. The Grandiosa made its way to Orlando & I had give that a try while doing it in Yacht Club style! It was a great trip and enjoyed the different layout of this ship!
Originally this was our first cruise we booked way in advance but got a great deal for the Yacht Club. When we finally got to the MSC Seaside, I just had to try the zip line!
